About the house
Apartments Vrhouc are located in our 100-year-old family stone house, perched at the very top of a hill and surrounded by fields and forest. The village of Volčanski Ruti is one of the most tranquil and peaceful places you can imagine, yet it is only a five-minute drive to the Soča Valley.
Apartment 1
2 bedrooms
This spacious two-bedroom apartment, measuring 70 square meters, is located on the first floor. It features a kitchen with a dining area and a bathroom with a washing machine on the lower level. On the upper level, there is a large living area with an extended sofa bed, a bedroom with a double bed, and a small bedroom with a single bed. The apartment also has a terrace with outdoor furniture and stunning views.
Apartment 2
2 bedrooms
This spacious two-bedroom apartment, measuring 85 square meters, is located on the ground floor. It features a kitchen with a dining area, a spacious living room with an extended sofa bed, and a bathroom on the lower level. On the upper level, there are two bedrooms—one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. The apartment also includes a garden with outdoor furniture.
All apartments offer mountain views, an LCD TV with satellite channels, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower and hairdryer.
Guests are welcome to use the shared gas barbecue. They can also relax on the garden deck chairs and enjoy the stunning views, or spend the evening by the firepit, watching the stars in the clear night sky.

The Soča River is popular among adventurers, especially for rafting and kayaking. Tolmin is 5 km away, and Triglav National Park is 10 km away. Trieste Airport is 80 km away.
Hiking
Our village is an excellent starting point for many shorter or longer trips. We are located at the edge of the Triglav National Park, Alpe Adria Trail, Juliana Trail and The walk of peace.
